STMA Schools Capital Projects Improvement Bond

By STMA YH VP of Communications, 09/16/16, 12:45PM CDT

As many in our community are aware, the School Board is finalizing a bond referendum for capital improvements to school facilities. This referendum is important and all of the proposed items are necessary in our growing community.

As parents of STMA students and players in hockey, we should all take an active interest in this bond.  As we are all aware  we are lacking in ice time, our kids have late ice hours and often we have long drives to practices.  As we continue to grow the game of hockey we are running out of ice.

On Monday, October 3rd, the School Board will be deciding what will be included on the February 7th referendum.  Please note the estimated property tax increase to support the full referendum and have all recommended items on the ballot is approximately $43 for a $35M bond. These are ANNUAL TAX ESTIMATES.
