Local North Wright County River Hawks take Championship in 'Gold Medal All Star Festival this past weekend.
AAA United All Sars
Amy Childers and Alyssa Scott were one of the two D lines that limited their opponents scoring opportunities, allowing their team 'United All Stars ' to skate through an undefeated tournament. Early on the 'United All Stars ' took on the 'Reebok National Team', lead by our own NWC Hailie Gudmonson. The two analogous squads skated to a 3-3 tie. These two teams would prove to be formidable to their future opponents as they both landed in the U16 Championship game late Sunday afternoon. The 'United All Stars ' skate on to win the game with the Reebok National's taking a strong 2nd place. The rest is left to the History Books my friends.
