Knights High School Home Opener THIS Thursday!!

Come out and watch the STMA Knights Boys Hockey Team in their home opener against North Branch on Thursday December 2nd. Junior Varsity starts 5:15 and the Varsity starts at 7:00.

Youth Night with the RiverHawks THIS Friday!

Friday, December 5th the NWC RiverHawks play Buffalo at the STMA Arena. Each child (boy or girl) wearing a jersey gets in free with a paid adult. Come support the NWC RiverHawks and cheer them on to a victory over Buffalo!!

Also, the NWC RiverHawks will be collecting Toys for Teens that evening!

Please consider bringing a new, unwrapped gift to the River Hawks vs. Buffalo game at STMA Arena on Friday, December 5^{th (}^{or drop box at the Moose)}

Some gift ideas are:

Party-type games

Blankets or road safety items for cars

Tools

Crafty items (scrapbooking etc)

Picture frames

DVDs (G to PG-13 please)

Fishing/camping equipment

Inexpensive jewelry or nail polish

Gift cards (Target, Wal-Mart etc)

Any gift is greatly appreciated!

Concession help wanted at the arena....

1 or 2 adults are needed to work in the concession stand this season. Customer service is of top priority. Evenings and weekends, 10-15 hours/week Dec-Mar. If you are interested, contact the arena manager, Grant Fitch at gfitch2990@aol.com

No Name® Hockey Kid of the Year (tm)

Hockey parents this is your opportunity tell us in 100 words or less
why your kid deserves to be the No Name® Hockey Kid of the Year (tm)!
Based on these essays, six finalists and their families will be chosen
to attend the Minnesota Wild home game on February 8th. During a
pre-game ceremony two of the finalists will be chosen to receive the
Grand Prize, including a road trip to a Minnesota Wild road game,
autographed jersey and much more.

Kids ages 5 to 18 are eligible for contest entry and will be judged
based on their sportsmanship, school performance, community service
and their "State of Hockey" contributions. All entries must be received
by January 3rd, 2009.
